What We Collect
DualFrame Camera is designed with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not have servers that receive your data. We do not run analytics on your usage.
The app operates entirely on your device.
Camera & Microphone Access
DualFrame Camera requests access to your camera and microphone solely to record video. This data is:
- Processed entirely on your device using Apple's AVFoundation framework
- Never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party
- Saved directly to your Photos library upon completion of a recording
- Stored temporarily in your device's local temp directory only during an active recording session, and immediately deleted after saving
Purchase & Trial Data
DualFrame Camera uses Apple's StoreKit 2 for its one-time unlock purchase. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment information.
The app stores a single boolean unlock flag and a trial start date in your device's secure Keychain. This data never leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
DualFrame Camera does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or tracking libraries.
The only external service interaction is with Apple's App Store for purchase verification — which is handled by iOS itself, not by us.
Data Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any of your data on external servers, there is nothing to delete on our end. All local app data (settings, trial date, unlock status) can be removed by deleting the DualFrame Camera app from your device.
Video recordings saved to your Photos library are under your full control and can be deleted at any time through the Photos app.
Children's Privacy
DualFrame Camera does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app contains no features that collect personal data from any age group.
Updates to This Policy
If we ever update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We will not make changes that reduce your privacy without clear notice.
